Gigs Gig Gigs - 2022!

Hello lovely folk!

I hope 2022 is treating you all well. It's been a while since I've shared much news but I'm delighted to say I've got a whole load of groovy stuff to let you know about...

Firstly, thanks to all of you who came out to the Katy Rose Bennett & The Frankley Beeches gigs back in October 2021. We had an absolute blast performing in Birmingham, London, Wrexham, Manchester & Steventon. I'm delighted that we'll be performing a very special headline show at Cecil Sharp House in London on 11th May 2022. The first half, I'll be playing solo or in combo with a few of The Frankley Beeches and then the second half will be a performance of 'Alone On A Hill' in its entirety. Tickets available here. Here are a few pics from last October's tour... (Photos by Gen Clemens (London), Ricardo Rocha (Wrexham) & Not Sure! (Manchester)

Even sooner than that - next week - I'll be playing a few gigs supporting the wonderful Mr Jack Lukeman. I first met Jack in Shrewsbury a few months ago and he invited me to open for the London (22nd February) , Maidenhead (23rd February) and Stoke-On-Trent (25th February) dates of his tour. See the live section for further details.

Then, in my biggest tour of the UK to date, I will be opening for Mr Danny George Wilson for the April dates of his upcoming tour... (see poster above). It's gonna be wonderful!

I've known Danny and his beautiful songs for years and it'll be a real pleasure to sing out on the road again with Danny and co. We're playing all over the place so hope you might be able to make one. I'm gonna be taking my new blue and gold Gretsch out on the road for the first time on this tour so I might get quite loud (comparatively!)

I first played with Danny back at Truck 2008 (I think!) when I was briefly part of the 15-piece Danny & The Champions of the World although my very first Truck Festival was in 1998, aged 15 when I sang a song about a tree (see picture above)

Last but not least, I'll be supporting Dean Friedman for a handful dates over the next few months too including Cardiff, Cirencester and Thame - see the live dates section for details.

Phew!

That'll do for now.

Thanks for all your support! Hope to see you on the road over the coming months.
