Hi folks!
I'm very excited to announce that my new single 'Where Does It Hurt?' will be released digitally on 25th September 2020 followed on 30th October 2020 by my new album of the same name. You can pre-save the single on Spotify now and you can pre-order the album from my Bandcamp page.

The single has been garnering some radio plays at home and abroad including, rather excitingly, my first ever play on The BBC Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe last Wednesday 19th August alongside some rather fabulous folk including Julie Fowlis and Mary Gauthier. Here's a link to the listen again which will be up for a few weeks - i'm on at 26 minutes in or so BBC Radio 2 Folk Show
I've also had support and radio plays from the lovely folk at
BBC Introducing WM
Brum Radio
Liz Franklin's Folk Us show on Darlington Radio
Readifolk radio show
Mystery Train Radio Show
Wagonload of Monkeys
as well as inclusion in Motréal's Folk Connection Podcast #19 and #20.
I'm also thrilled to announce that I've received an Alan James Creative Bursary from the EFDSS to begin research on an exciting new project called 'Worryface'. I'll be heading to London for a week or two later this year (Covid-permitting) to research and start devising the project at Cecil Sharp House and The Vaughan-Williams Memorial Library, working in consultation with brilliant theatre-maker Francesca Millican-Slater.
