Hello lovely folk,
I am very happy to share details of my new album and tour happening this September.
First of all, the album.
It's called Alone On A Hill and it was written, recorded and produced by me in my little home studio between January - April 2021, thanks to a grant from Arts Council England. It is entirely acappella (with a little bit of electroacoustic sound design) and is released on 24th September 2021. You can pre-order the album on CD and digital here.
Here's a little taste of the album - the first single Sleep which came out in July...
The second single, Devil, is coming on Thursday September 9th 2021.
Second of all, the tour.
I am more than a little excited to be presenting a 4-date tour performing with a brilliant acappella vocal quartet comprising of Joe Bennett, Siriol Davies, Sam Fox and Hannah Rhodes. We've been rehearsing over the last few months and it's sounding ace! Here's a little snippet of a practice a few weeks ago.
We'll be performing at Green Note, London (Wednesday 22nd September); Kitchen Garden Cafe, Birmingham (Sunday 26th September); an online streamed gig with Live To Your Living Room (Wednesday 29th September) and at Focus Wales, Wrexham (October 8th, 2021).

Can't wait to get out there playing gigs again - I had my first gig back at Sidmouth Folk Festival last week which was wonderful though nerve-wracking after an 18-month hiatus!
